The Port of Larvik is Norway’s second-largest container port and an important gateway to Europe for goods transport. 70.000 container units (TEUs) are loaded and unloaded annually in the port.

We offer weekly container line connections to Hamburg, Bremerhaven, Rotterdam, Amsterdam and the Baltic. The routes are operated by Unifeeder, Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC) and Seago Line.

In recent years, the port has won a reputation as the first-choice, state-of-the-art container port on the west flank of the Oslofjord, with the capacity to handle 200.000 containers within the present port boundaries. Two gantry container cranes ensure efficient loading and unloading operations.

Larvik Containerterminal AS (LCT) is responsible for the daily operation of the container terminal, while Larvik Havn KF is in charge of crane operations.
